It's Not the Architect's Fault (2010)
Italian Pavillion, Venice Architecture Biennale
Nov. 21, 2010
A retired hairdresser, a business man, a plumber, an accountant working for the city council, a bird hunter, two young design students, a former real estate agent, a local urban planner, ... These are the people I asked to reflect on the themes that Luca Molinari, curator of the Italian Pavilion, used to frame the works on display at the Italian Pavillion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2010. Themes include: life below €1000 per square metre; re-using assets seized from organized crime; landscape emergency; new public areas; and rethinking the city.
